Please note that when dogs are mentioned, this only applies to pets. Assistance dogs are always welcome.
AREA WALKS
The Forth Valley, Fife and Tayside Area Joint Programme is the combined walking programmes of 14 local groups.
6 monthly Area programmes are updated on or around 1st April and 1st October each year. All members receive a printed programme.
There is also an online version: Area Programme
Members can attend any group's walks, but it is best to contact the designated leader before the walk.

Walkers who can and wish to car share inform leader and meet up at the LCCP. There is no need to pre-book walks now unless coming from another group. Walkers not car sharing can go directly to the start of a walk, having informed the walk leader in advance.
Please note that some of the walks in the Summer Programme have an earlier meet time of 9am due to the longer travel times.

Meet at Glenrothes bus station at 8.50 for X59 bus at 9.04 or Halbeath PandR at 9.20 for bus at 9.33 to Edinburgh. Then take 44 bus to Slateford. A peaceful riverside walk through the city.
